We are seeking a Global Securities Services Sales & Client Relationship Associate Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for offering and selling post-trade services to institutional clients, depositary, and transactional services to issuers. Our primary goal is to provide exceptional securities services, with a value proposition built on three pillars: global reach with local expertise, tailored innovation, and cutting-edge technology focused on efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to define and execute the business strategy. This includes establishing and following up on business plans and financial forecasts.
- Client Relationship: Actively manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring the retention of existing business and expanding our custody and depositary client base.
- Sales: Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities. This involves visiting and calling on clients, as well as preparing and updating presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials.
- Cross-Selling: Promote dialogue between product specialists and clients to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with the FX Desk for the execution of spot FX trades related to client securities activities.
- Monitor the Global Securities Services Profit & Loss account.
- Collaborate with the Tax Reclaim Specialists and other departments to coordinate the provision of post-trade services.
- Supervise and verify the customer billing process.
- Support Back and Middle Office teams in resolving client queries and claims.
Others
- Stay updated about regulatory changes and their impact on our services, and communicate these changes to clients promptly.
- Supervise and coordinate with Legal CIB on updating and drafting custody and depositary contracts.
- Report periodically to the Sales Manager, evaluating key performance indicators.
- Documentation: Prepare and participate in RFPs (Requests for Proposal), Due Diligences, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Attend securities’ international forums and participate in working groups of international players in the institutional custody field.
- Oversee customer’s participation in surveys for specialized media like Global Custodian or Global Investor
Requirements
- +6 years previous experience.
- High level of English is mandatory (C1 level).
- Good presentation skills with the ability to negotiate and find the middle ground between parties.
- Well organised and methodical.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A team player but also able to take the initiative and lead projects.
- Must have an opinion and provide criteria.
- MIFID II minimum qualification EFPA European Investment Assistant (EIA) or equivalent
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Engineering, or related disciplines.
