About The Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of financial reporting and accounting strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of financial reporting and accounting professionals.
- Oversee budgeting processes and ensure accurate financial planning within scope of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls through regular testing, audits, and monitoring activities.
- Deliver timely statutory, financial, and management reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive integrity and efficiency of financial systems across tax, inventory, payments, and purchasing data.
- Lead risk management processes, ensuring effective controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, accounting, and compliance in a complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, statutory reporting, and audit processes.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data clearly.
Desirable Requirements
- Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Working knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
