Position Summary: Demand & Supply Planning Analyst
This position is a Demand & Supply Analyst and will report to the Planning Leader. Together, they will be responsible for ensuring supply continuity, the demand planning cycle, KPI compliance, and innovation projects within the area. They will directly contribute to the customer purchasing experience alongside the Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the balance between Demand and Supply to support sales fulfillment and key indicators such as %DFA, BIAS, IQV, stock level, and backorders.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly KPIs related to DFA (Demand Forecast Accuracy), DTA (Demand Trend Analysis), and backorders, ensuring timely performance tracking and action plans.
- Coordinate and follow up on new product launches, ensuring the proper execution of activities with the involved areas to meet deadlines, requirements, and product availability.
- Create, track, and manage MEMO Risks, identifying potential risks in the supply chain and coordinating mitigation actions.
- Act as Champion or Scrum Master for CCDs, facilitating cross-functional coordination, activity tracking, and issue resolution to ensure timely progress of initiatives.
- Lead and support the Supply Planner, promoting objective achievement, team development, and alignment with area priorities.
- Serve as the first point of contact within the organization for product availability and planning information.
- Collaborate with supply plants and logistics to manage orders within and outside standard lead times.
- Track urgent arrivals and coordinate with Imports and Warehouse to communicate accordingly.
- Perform an initial analysis of historical sales behavior and build the DP proposal.
- Analyze incoming shipments based on expiration dates and quantities according to established parameters.
- Be responsible for reporting, database construction, and baseline development for demand planning.
- Own Master Data and material catalogs.
- Be responsible for the daily update of reports and maintenance of catalogs in customer service applications.
- Participate in improvement projects.
Requirements and Skills
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and demand/supply planning tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI.
- Flexibility and adaptability to the requirements and dynamics of a changing environment with multiple initiatives and projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and ability to work with multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to create databases, review and interpret them, and communicate conclusions.
- Creative thinking oriented toward solving complex problems that may seem to have no solution.
- Advanced business English, spoken, written, and listening.
- Must demonstrate ownership and accountability to execute operations with a sense of urgency.
Experience
- 3–5 years in demand planning, operations analysis, distribution, supply, or production.
- Database management experience.
- Experience using MRP.
- SAP experience.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing planning reports.
- Experience collaborating with Sales.
- Strong customer service orientation and effective communication at all organizational levels.
