What You’ll Do
Job Summary
Negotiate with supplier products and services needed by organization, is responsible of arrive proper time, price and quality.
Job Responsibilities
- help to localize the best option in different needs and services
- help to solve and find alternatives
- quote and place the orders for indirect parts and services
- ensure the payment of suppliers and conciliate any differences
- resolve the blocked invoices and provide information to finance for GR/IR
- Resolve and answer GR/IR file according direction from Finance
- Add, delete and update the system and the vendor Master info
- drive the correct way for vendors with no PO.
- keep continuous contact with suppliers related shipments, quality issue, lead times, etc
- Participate and support in different projects related of savings
- Follow up with our Financial team (FSS) and ensuring the payment suppliers, validate and sent the changes needed.
- Monitor supplier performance by ensuring that product is delivered as scheduled and meets specifications; maintaining appropriate files and records of meetings with suppliers to ensure company requirements are met and that supplier is aware of their performance.
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, minimum order quantities, etc. With suppliers to meet company goals.
- Follow up the CAR projects with owner to be registered correctly and applied correctly into system
- Help and keep continues communication with vendors and ATEB thru FSS to support the correct load of invoices according fiscal requirements
Qualifications
Education level required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineer
Years and area of experience required: At least 5 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (high mix, low demand preferred) on a similar position/role (MRO buyer, Indirect buyer, Direct buyer)
Technical knowledge: Demonstrated success on COP or similar strategies, Strong capabilities in SAP, Knowledge on ISO9001 /14000 or IATF Quality System. – Quality Auditor desirable, At least Foundational knowledge CTPAT and OEA certifications, REPSE, RESICO, NDA Relocation assistance is not available for Strong Financial analysis skills, Negociation
