
Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Sr. Maintenance Engineer.
What You’ll Do
Primary Function:
Ensure the maintenance contractor (such as ATS) delivers high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective services that protect your organization's assets. This role is a combination of technical oversight, strategic planning, and performance management
Essential Functions
- Responsible for preventive maintenance schedule of all pieces of production equipment in the plant
- Responsible of review and approve over time schedule, reports and follow up activities accordingly
- Support ELSS / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy
- Responsible of control of Preventive and Corrective Maintenance files either electronic or physical
- Analyze E-Factory data and initiates activities for improvements when metrics are not met
- Reports Adherence to PM schedule, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, Downtime.
- Responsible for compliance with all internal procedures and regulations (ISO, AS, STPS, MESH, etc.)
- Tier 2 for Value Streams assistance and maintenance metrics information update accordingly.
- Works with ATS's on site manager to define repairs, procure spare parts, Cost-Outs, etc.
- Safeguard the integrity of key information, electronical, paper / binder, etc.
- Lead Preventive / Corrective Maintenance Metrics per business strategy
- Manage priorities according to business needs
- Adherence to PM schedule, MTBF, MTTR, Downtime, Availability and work balance of technicians
- Monitor and report equipment downtime for all Value Streams
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in industrial engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Electromechanical, preferred)
- Experience in Preventative and Corrective Maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Automation, PLC, Robots
- Program Management
- Basic knowledge on production equipment troubleshot
- Communication skills, email, group meetings, virtual meetings.
- Soft skills
- English: coversational advanced
Preferred Specialized Knowledge (not required to be qualified for position):
Sales volume/revenues (required for sales roles), production expenses, maintenance expenses, payroll costs, capital expenditures, research budgets, cost of purchases, value of inventories controlled, employees supervised (direct and indirect)
