
Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Regional Manufacturing Quality Sr. Engineer.
What You’ll Do
BASIC FUNCTION:
Controls and ensures manufacturing products with quality, aligned with Eaton Quality Management System and Customer Requirements.
Essentials Functions
- Coordinate quality digitalization strategy.
- Develop digital applications to support manufacturing and quality processes
- Support Quality reports automatization.
- Act as subject matter expert for SPC- Infinity QS
- Provide training for Infinity QS site champions
- Coordinate Infinity QS strategy for Mobility North America sites
- Support and create Infinity QS projects set up for new programs
- Work with IT teams for Infinity QS server issues.
- Promote Quality Functional Excellence
- Coordinate with sites annual Quality competencies assessments
- Develop regional strategy to improve Quality Functional Competencies
- Provide Problem solving training (A3- 8D) to light vehicle sites.
- Support and coordinate Quality initiatives implementation
- Fast Response – Customer Focus
- Reverse PFMEA
- Zero defects
- MRB process standardization
- Lesson Learned and best practices sharing
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
General
- Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 3 years as QA Engineer
- English 90% Written & Verbal Skills
Digital Mindset – Skills
- Power BI
- Power apps
- Automate
- IA tools knowledge
Analytical & Statistical Tools
- Problem Solving Skills (8D, A3, 5 whys, Fishbone, Pareto etc.)
- Six Sigma / Shainin desired
External Requirements Knowledge
- Automotive Industry Background ISO 9000 – IATF Knowledge
- Internal Auditor certificate desired
Inspection And Testing
- Advanced Inspection & Testing
- GD&T & MSA
- SPC
Process and product quality planning
- Automotive Core Tools knowledge (PPAP, APQP, CP, SPC, PFMEA)
Quality Leadership / Leadership
- Communication and Negotiation Skills
- ASQ CQE Certification desired
